Several years ago we decided to move from the south east of England and find a quiet unspoilt part of the UK. After a short search West Wales became the logical choice and Cawrence seemed to fit our requirements perfectly.
Since moving we have begun restoring the outbuildings of this important old Welsh farm and while a very long and ardous task it is wonderful to see the changes as each area is rebuilt and given a new lease of life.
Here are a few pictures of the rebuild: -

We still have some way to go but our aim is to renovate all the existing outbuildings. We have our own water supply and considering wind power as a possible way forward for our future energy needs.
Woodland Walk
At Cawrence we have created a woodland walk almost a mile in length. All guests are welcome to use the walk and explore the riverside. There is often wildlife to be seen in the woods including Badgers, Foxes, Owls and Buzzards.

Down By the River The highest point?
One of our recent guests liked the landscape so much she painted it!
We hope you enjoy your stay in Wales.
